After a small test batch release back in July that sold out in record time, we are so happy to announce that Ink Sloe & Berry Gin is back and even better news, it’s here to stay!
In case you missed it last year, our favourite gin distillers and creators of the now famous, purple hued Ink Gin, blew us away again adding a Sloe style gin to their repertoire.
With natural aromas and raw botanicals, the red hued gin is infused with tart sloe fruit and sweet seasonal red berries for several months. The magic final ingredient is the delicious rosella flower that grows in abundance in the top end of Australia creating the tangy taste and vibrant colour imbibed into Ink Sloe & Berry Gin.
Head Distiller Quentin Brival said “there has been a lot of late nights and taste testing to refine the product and with a new infusion tank we are ready to roll and keep rolling.” Music to our ears!
Each to their own, but we like to enjoy a Sloe & Berry gin cold and neat on the rocks or with a splash of tonic. The added flavour of the assorted berries may vary the taste and sweetness from season to season – making each batch unique.
